“VYRAJ” GETS SPECIAL MENTION

The latest film by Agnieszka Nowosielska received a special mention at the 9th edition of the Dracula Film Festival in Brasov, Romania.

Dracula Film Festival is a competitive film festival focused on genre films such as horror, science fiction, thriller, fantasy, or those concerning supernatural phenomena. This year's edition was held on 13-17 October.

The awarded film tells the story of Weronka, who's living a quiet and idyllic life until she learns about her father's illness. The world around her cries out for attention while reality slips out of control. While playing with his friends, her son Pietrek experiences something that makes him believe he possesses healing powers. Is it possible that the boy could improve his grandfather's health?

Directed by Agnieszka Nowosielska, "Vyraj" was produced at the University of Silesia's Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School.
