“MAY THE WORLD NOT CARRY YOU” WINS AT AMERICAN FESTIVAL
The animated film by Rozalia Las was recognised as the best student animated film of the 13th edition of SENE Film, Music & Arts Festival.
SENE Film, Music & Arts Festival is one of the oldest events devoted simultaneously to music, art, and film. The festival is a five-day celebration of independent cinema from the US and the world, as well as an opportunity to participate in great live concerts and meet international artists.
One of the competitions featured Rozalia Las' animated film. "May the World Not Carry You" was named the best student animated film of the festival. The winning film is inspired by a Polish folk song and made by painting directly onto the celluloid. A girl learns that her beloved married a woman with a larger dowry. Betrayal leads to tragedy.
