WEEKEND AWARDS FOR POLISH DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKERS

Last weekend, Polish short documentaries won two awards at the festivals in the Netherlands and in the United States. Paweł Ziemilski - the author of the film "Rogalik," and Tomasz Śliwiński - the author of "Our Curse" enlarged the pool of their awards, adding two new statuettes.

"Killing Auntie" by Mateusz Głowacki won in the Poznań Open competition. "Our Curse" by Tomasz Śliwiński won the Short Waves Grand Prix award.

The Trailer Competition of films submitted to the 54th Krakow Film Festival has been launched. Internet voting takes place between 10th March and 10th April, and the best trailer will give the correspondent film a ticket to the Festival.

POLISH FILMMAKER AWARDED AT FINNISH FESTIVAL TAMPERE

44th edition of short film festival in Tampere ended yesterday evening. On the last day of the festival, one of the main awards went to the animated film by Michał Poniedzielski “Moonshine.”
