“THE LAST WHISTLE” WINS IN SPAIN

The short feature by Karol Lindholm won at the La Cabina International Film Festival held in Valencia, Spain. Also Jury members noticed a scenography of the film.

La Cabina International Film Festival is an important and valued place on Europe's film map dedicated to productions running anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. This year 12 films from eight European countries have been qualified for the festival's main competition.

Karol Lindholm's film was the only Polish entrant in the competition. The Last Whistle takes place during a hot summer. A lonely caravan is parked on the beach near a small seaside town. Two brothers are spending their time practicing swimming in the sea. This will be a special holiday for the younger one – their father is preparing him for his first long distance swimming competition. Will he manage to overcome his fear and fulfil his dad's ambitions?
