POLISH FILMS AT FEST ANCA!
In June starts the eighth edition of Fest Anca - the leading Slovakian festival dedicated exclusively to animated films. As many as seven Polish films are included in the programme.
This year, the Fest Anča International Animation Festival is held from 29 June to 3 July in Žilina, Slovakia.
In this year's festival screenings, the audience will watch some Polish animated films.
In the international competition, there is the film by Karolina Specht, "Don't Lose Your Head," made using the hand-drawn animation and computer animation techniques.
In the student film competition, the animated film "Łańcuszki" by Alicja Błaszczyńska will compete for the awards. It is a story of 5 people who are considered eccentrics by the rest of the world.
"A Documentary Film" by Marcin Podolec will be shown in the panorama of the international films. The animated film is dedicated to the artist's father.
In the film review "Anca in Mordor," the short film "Stone Story" by Marcin Giżycki will be shown, in the screening "Anca in Wonderland" - "Unwanted Desires" by Ola Szmida and "Hel" by Damian Krakowiak, and in the screening of experimental films - "This World" by Zbigniew Czapla, based on the poem by Czesław Miłosz.
The programme of the festival also includes workshops and meetings in which Polish game developers will participate: Michał Azarewicz and Krzysztof Dębski from Platige Image and Michał Staniszewski from Plastic.

W czerwcu rozpocznie się ósma edycja Fest Anča – wiodącego słowackiego festiwalu poświęconego wyłącznie filmom animowanym. Do programu trafiło aż siedem polskich filmów.
Słowacki Międzynarodowy Festiwal Filmów Animowanych Fest Anča odbędzie się w tym roku w terminie 29 czerwca - 3 lipca w Żylinie.
W tym roku w pokazach festiwalowych widzowie będą mogli zobaczyć kilka polskich animacji.
W konkursie międzynarodowym znalazł się film Karoliny Specht "Nie trać głowy", wykonany w technice animacji rysunkowej i komputerowej
W konkursie filmów studenckich o nagrodę zawalaczy animacja Łańcuszki Alicji Błaszczyńskiej. Jest to historia 5 ludzi, których świat uważa za dziwaków.
Dokument Marcina Podolca zostanie zaprezentowany w panoramie międzynarodowych filmów. Animacja poświęcona jest ojscu artysty.
W przeglądzie filmów "Anca in Mordor" pokazany zostanie krótki film Marcina Giżyckiego "Stone Story", w pokazie "Anca in woderland" "Unwanted Desires" Oli Szmidy oraz "Hel" Damiana Krakowiaka, a w pokazie filmów eksperymentalnych "Ten świat" Zbigniewa Czapli zrealizowany na podstawie wiersza Czesława Miłosza.
W programie festiwalu przewidziane są również warsztaty i spotkania,w których wezmą udział polscy twórcy gier: Michał Azarewicz i Krzysztof Dębski z Platige Image i Michał Staniszewski z Plastic.
