„TWIST AND BLOOD” SELECTED TO A STUDENT FILM SCREENING AT SAN SEBASTIAN
“Twist and Blood” by Kuba Czekaj was selected as one of thirteen student short films that will be screened at International Film Student Meeting in San Sebastian between 21st and 23rd September.
International Film Student Meeting is being organized in frame of International Film Festival in San Sebastian since 2002. Every year dozens of students and film school representatives come to Spanish Basque Country to take part in the event. During three days apart from the screening of selected films there are simultaneous meetings and small workshops, that offer a great opportunity for all of the participants to exchange views and experiences. In result of this year’s selection thirteen films were selected from more than 56 entries from 25 countries. Poland will be represented by “Twist and blood” directed by Kuba Czekaj – a student of Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Department of University of Silesia in Katowice.The beginning of September will open quite a high screening season for Czekaj’s short film. Apart from screening in Spain, it will be shown in competitive sections at festivals in Temacula Valley in US, Open Student Film Festival “Beginning” in Petersburg, Short Film Festival in San Francisco and also during the English Raindance.
