WE'VED LEARNED THE ENTIRE PROGRAM OF THE DOK LEIPZIG FESTIVAL POLISH PRODUCTIONS IN THE PROGRAMME

We've finally got to know the entire festival program at DOK Leipzig. Other Polish productions have joined Paweł Łoziński's The Balcony Movie and Izabela Plucińska's 98 kg. The documentaries Light Years by Monika Proba and Bucolic by Karol Pałka along with the animated Crumbs of Life by Katarzyna Miechowicz and Impossible Figures and Other Stories I by Marta Pajek are going to compete in their respective categories.

DOK Leipzig is a major event in the world of documentary and animated film. Every year, Leipzig hosts the latest film productions from dozens of countries on all continents. The extremely rich programme includes animated films and documentaries from all over the world. 

This year's program includes several Polish productions. A few days ago we got to know the titles of films invited to the new competition section, in which winners will be selected by the audience. Paweł Łoziński's The Balcony Movie and Izabela Plucińska's 98 kg will be competing for their recognition. We wrote about it here.

We've now learned the productions nominated for international competitions. Light Years by Monika Proba, Crumbs of Life by Katarzyna Miechowicz, and Impossible Figures and Other Stories I by Marta Pajek will be competing for the title of best short film. On the other hand, Karol Pałka's Bucolic has a chance to win the international competition, MDR Film Prize, Prize of the Interreligious Jury and FIPRESCI Prize. 

This year's edition is scheduled for 25–30 October and will be adopting a hybrid model.
