By the end of the month the 16th edition of the Russian festival "Multivision" will begin. Three Polish short animations were included in the competition.

The International Festival of Animation Arts "Multivision" is a festival dedicated to animation and video installations taking place in Saint Petersburg. The festival is open to innovations and dialogue between the artists and the audience. The organizers try to create a space where animation and new technology interact with each other. In the comprehensive festival program, apart from the competition screenings of the animated films from around the world and multimedia installations, the audience can find workshops, meetings and presentations of new technology.

Saint Petersburg belongs to short animations. The films invited to the main competition last no longer than half an hour. This year three Polish films will compete for the festival's Grand Prix: "Room" by Michał Socha, "Evening" by Izabela Plucińska and "III" by Marta Pajek.
