SHORT FILMS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN OCTOBER

Even though it is colder outside, the film festivals are getting hot. In October, Polish documentary films will be shown, among others, in Spain, Great Britain and Taiwan. Let's find out to which festivals our productions are invited.

At the beginning of October, the festival CinEast in Luxembourg is held, where you can watch Polish short documentary, animated and feature films. The audience of the festival will see "Volte" by Monika Kotecka and Karolina Poryzała, "The Sisters" by Michał Hytroś, "III" by Marta Pajek, "Bless You!" by Paulina Ziółkowska and "Heimat" by Emi Buchwald.

At the same time, Polish short films will be screened in Taiwan. Within the frames of Women Make Waves Film Festival, "Vanilla/Whip" by Bogna Kowalczyk and "Casting" by Katarzyna Iskra will be shown. This is not the end of Polish short films in Taiwan. At the Kaohsiung Film Festival, five Polish productions are included in the competition, and what is more, the festival's special guests are the short films made at the Lodz Film School. In the Czech Republic, at the Brno International Short Film Festival, you can watch two Polish films: "Bernard" by Anna Oparkowska and "Spitsbergen" by Michał Szcześniak, whereas at the Linz Film Festival in Austria, "Daughter" by Mary Tamokovich will be shown, and at the Shnit Worldwide Film Festival in Switzerland, "Time to go" by Grzegorz Mołda.

Four Polish films will appear in the programme of the Spanish festival FILMETS Badalona, these are: "Dust" by Jakub Radej, "Room" by Michał Socha, "Norma" by Agata Minowska and "Bogdan and Rose" by Milena Dutkowska. This month, "Casting" by Katarzyna Iskra will be shown in Italy at the festival Montecantini.

Five Polish short films will appear at the Cambridge Film Festival in Great Britain. The festival's audience will see "Oh, God!" by Betina Brożek, "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzek, "The Other" and "Bogdan and Rose."
