"THE DRESS" WINS IN INDIA

The good streak of Tadeusz Łysiak's film continues, after the award at the American Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, it was the turn of the winning statuette at this year's Bengaluru International Short Film Festiva

Bengaluru International Short Film Festival was established exactly 10 years ago. It is the only festival in India that qualifies for the Oscars in the short film category. The organizers present viewers with a wide variety of short films from all over the world.

This year's program includes Polish productions. Tadeusz Łysiak's "The Dress" was appreciated by the jurors and received the main prize in the Let's Include category. The award-winning film follows the story of Julia who works in a roadside motel and succumbs to an overwhelming feeling of rejection and loneliness. She is different and society has made her feel it many times. However, she dreams of a relationship, physical closeness with a man. Unexpectedly, a handsome truck driver stands in her way. The woman begins to fantasize about him.
