THE EURO CONNECTION PRESENTATION DURING INDUSTRY ZONE AT THE 55TH KFF

One of the jury members at the 55th Krakow Film Festival was Eric Wojcik, the director and programmer of the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand. On June 3, he took a short break from his duties in the jury and, within the frames of INDUSTRY ZONE, told about EURO CONNECTION.

EURO CONNECTION is an international co-production forum for short film makers, organised during the Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival in co-operation with Media Desk France and CNC. It is an industry event the aim of which is to share experiences and build co-operation as far as co-production is concerned. Within the frames of the forum, there is a pitching of short film projects from entire Europe, as well as individual meetings with representatives of television channels, sales agents and distributors.

During his presentation, Eric Wojcik emphasised that though co-production is not always easy, gaining such experiences during work on short film projects is immensely important.  It is hard to imagine working on a large feature-length film without co-operating with producers and other partners abroad.

Krakow Film Foundation has been the Polish partner of the project for many years.
