Polish-Armenian film "Milky Brother" by Vahram Mkhitaryan won the Best Short Film award at the Febiofest SK festival. The main part of the festival was held from 20 to 26 March in Bratislava.

Last few days were particularly successful for Vahram Mkhitaryan - first he was nominated for Pomeranian Artistic Award, and yesterday, on 26 March, he was awarded at Slovakian festival Febiofest SK. He owes both awards to his short fiction film "Milky Brother," which was chosen the Best Short Film at the 22nd edition of the Febiofest SK festival. It is worth mentioning that "Milky Brother” has already won the best film awards at the Golden Apricot Film Festival in Armenia and Premiers Plans Film Festival in France.

"Milky Brother" is a story of a little boy named Seto who lives in a small village in Armenia. Soon, a new member of his family is to be born. Seto is hoping for a brother, yet the infant dies. Instead of a little brother, a lamb appears in Seto's life. Initial dislike turns quickly into liking – friendship evolves between Seto and the lamb. Unfortunately, not for long. The family decides that the boys has to part with his favourite animal.

The main part of the Febiofest SK festival was held in Bratislava from 20 to 26 March, and from now until April 16 the festival films will visit other Slovakian cities.
