Jacek Petrycki the prize-winner at Camerimage
17th International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Plus Camerimage ended in Lodz. Among the prize-winners, there is the latest documentary by Marcel Łoziński.
Jacek Petrycki, the cameraman of “Poste restante” received the Discovery Networks Central Europe Award. The film took part in the Short-Length Documentary Film Contest.
The documentary is a story about a letter whose addressee cannot be found, so the letter goes to the Koluszki Unsent Mail Office. About a million unsent mail items arrives annually in the Koluszki Office, amongst them some addressed to God. “Poste restante” tells a story of just such a case.
