Damian Kocur's film was awarded by the jury with award for Best European Film. Therefore, it was included on the shortlist of films eligible for a nomination for the European Film Award in the Short Film category.

His "Beyond is the Day" won the Best European Film award, which means a chance to receive the European Film Award - one of the most prestigious awards a filmmaker can dream of. The award granted by the jury of the international competition means that "Beyond is the Day" was placed on the shortlist of films from which the European Film Academy nominates titles in the Best Short Film category.
