"STORY" IS THE BEST ANIMATED FILM IN JORDAN

The film by Jola Bańkowska was chosen as the best animated film at the 10th edition of the Karama Human Rights Festival in Jordan.

Karama Human Rights Festival is a six-day film event which has been held since 2010 in Amman, Jordan. In recent years, almost 500 films dealing with human rights issues were presented at the festival. The event was visited by about 8 thousand viewers, who are not only passionate about cinema, but also familiar with the idea of the festival itself.

The Polish production was included in the prestigious group of only seven films, competing for the best animated film award at the festival. Therefore, Jola Bańkowska's success is all the more significant.

The award-winning „Story”  is an ironic series of several scenes, telling us how everyday life gets mixed with the digital world. Watched through the medium of the "story," today a popular function on most social media, it presents lonely, lost people who are sometimes indifferent to the reality around them.
