AWARDS FOR FILMS FROM THE WARSAW FILM SCHOOL
In the last months the films produced in the Warsaw Film School won a number of awards at international festivals. Below we present the winning films.
In February, International Film Festival Catharsis took place in Belgium where a total of three awards went to a short film "High Heels" by Juan Bermudez. The film was awarded in following categories: Best Student Short Film, Best Sound Design and Best Screenplay.
In the meantime, at Short to the Point Festival in Romania "Vacant Rooms" by Bartłomiej Jakubiak was awarded the Best Children Short prize, while "Dreamland" by Natasza Parzymies won the Best Young Director award.
In March, International Film Festival of Larissa took place in Greece where Marek Leszczewski's film "Nuclear Shadows" was presented. The film received there the 2nd Prize for Best International Short.
The same month, at Indie Visions Film Festival the award for the Best Short Film went to Bartek Cebula's film "Masks".
