TERRITORY
Girl is kidnapped by her own body. In the labyrinth of her inner self, the girl must face the obsessions and desires of a person who is doomed to food — ever-present and painfully tempting. The film explores a toxic relationship with one's body. It shows the illness from an internal perspective, emphasizing confusion, loneliness, and of loss of control — emotions that are often invisible but deeply embedded in the everyday lives of people struggling with.

Barbara Synak to animatorka, lustratorka i projektantka graficzna, której prace łącząc grafikę, ruch i psychologię, tworzą głęboko introspektywne historie wizualne. Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych z 2025 roku, obecnie studiuje psychologię. Wierzy, że animacja jest medium, które w wyjątkowy sposób pozwala wizualizować to, co niewypowiedziane: przepływy myśli i uczuć oraz emocji. Jej krótka animacja zdobyła główną nagrodę w konkursie studenckim Chaumont Biennale w 2023 roku.
