Everybody knows this feeling: the monotonous rhythm of the train, the landscape moving fast outside and a head full of thoughts. Time slows down encouraging an inner journey, as a lonely woman sinks deeper and deeper into her memories. She is traveling to her family: to an absent husband and her child whom she can't learn to miss. She's going back home but in her thoughts she’s leaving again. Departures and returns collapse into one confusing journey trough her mind. In the empty train drama slowly evolves.

was born in 1986 in Krakow. She graduated from Psychology at University of Warsaw and currently is studying animation at Polish National Film School in Łodź. In her films she experiments with the traditional animation techiniques by creating small, intimate universes. She made three films – “Protozoa”, “Carnalis” and the latest “Ab ovo”.
