POLISH FILMS AT THE FESTIVALS IN JANUARY
January is an exceptionally quiet period as far as festival screenings are concerned. In spite of this, you can watch Polish short feature films at several festivals this month.
The festival year begins with the screenings of the films at the Kustendorf Film&Music Festival in Serbia. There, you can watch "Elizabeth" by Wojciech Klimala, "I've Got Something For You Too" by Iwo Konfender and "The Last Tale About Earth" by Magdalena Seweryn and Igor Połaniewicz.
Another festival at which Polish short films are shown is the Flickerfest International Short Film Festival in Australia. There, the documentary film "Atlas " by Maciej Kawalski will be shown. In the Czech Republic, at the Prague Short Film Festival, "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak will be shown. You can also watch this film at the Premiers Plans Film Festival in France.
In the second half of the month, the festival Slamdance is held in the USA, where the short feature film "Users" by Jakub Piątek is invited to the competition. It is worth mentioning that two short films will be presented at the Sundance: the animated film "Acid Rain" by Tomasz Popakul and the documentary film "The Tough" by Marcin Polar.
The festival January ends with the screening of the film "Total Harmony" by Roman Jarosz at the Seeyousound International Music Festival in Italy.
