ROUTE 505

This is a story about two guys who meet by accident after ten years. One of them - Marek - is a taxi driver and the other one – Dominik – is a passenger who needs a taxi to get for the class meeting. They do not recognize at the beginning. Marek is a nice guy but Dominik is totally rude, takes drugs and drinks in the taxi. He also refuses to pay for the ride. Marek announces by taxi radio that he has “kurs 505”. It is a code which is used in Poland by taxi drivers. If any of them has a problem with passenger he informs by radio that has a “route 505” and goes to the nearest taxi stop. Dominik is so afraid of this “kurs 505” that he agrees to pay for the ride. They go further but get a puncture. Marek needs to change a wheel and Dominik who is already drunk has to wait. He starts telling a story about his closest schoolmate. They haven’t seen for ten years since the accident during which Marek’s girlfriend was injured. The accident took place during mountain climbing because of Dominik fault. But Dominik does not feel guilty. Marek, who recognizes Dominik by this story, gets totally furious…
