Gilles Renard »
Born in Rennes in France. From many years he resides in Poland. Film and theatre director. In 1986 he obtained the title of Philosophy M. A.. In 1996 as a student of film direction at the Łódź Film School, he made his diploma film “Late in the afternoon” under a tutelage by Krzysztof Kieslowski. His other school etudes include: “Limit” (Special Award of Jury at the Aubagne Festival 1996), “Roll, Sir” and “Return”. In 2006 he was awrded Honorary Diploma at the Kraków Film Festival for an autobiographical “The Reshuffle”.
