What will remain of us when humanity disappears from the face of the Earth? Abandoned stations, schools and factories form a post-apocalyptic landscape of a world without people. Only the voices from the past, woven into the soundtrack, briefly restore life to these places. In this short documentary essay, Tomasz Wolski moves away from the archival material from which he has created his award-winning films in recent years. This time, the director sketches a bitter vision of a future without humankind – one that already begins to look disturbingly familiar.
