My mother likes to write down her thoughts on tiles in the kitchen. “1 nanosecond = 30 centimeters, about 30 cm. Imagining the speed of traveling light calms me down.” The director’s mother, who is losing her sight, visits her son and his girlfriend. Seeking solace by the sea, they find peace in untamed nature. They create a new, unspoken language, turning their last moments into a farewell to light.
