ROBERT ZAWADZKI’S “FEAR” RECEIVES SPECIAL MENTION AT A FESTIVAL IN LOS ANGELES

“Fear”, directed by Robert Zawadzki of the Gdynia Film School, has received a Special Mention in the competition section of Hollywood ShortsFest in Los Angeles.

Hollywood ShortsFest is an international event dedicated to short cinema, aimed at supporting emerging and independent filmmakers and presenting their work to a broad international audience. The festival focuses on the most compelling independent short films across a range of genres.

“Fear” explores the everyday ethical choices faced by residents of the Polish-Belarusian borderland in the context of the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The film addresses themes of humanity and moral conflict, portraying the border as a space marked by tension, responsibility, and difficult decisions.

Screenings of the awarded and specially mentioned films will take place from 26 to 29 March.
