POLISH TITLE: MOJE MIEJSCE

Romek, an unemployed young man from a small town who loves to play percussion, goes to Warsaw to look for work in the music industry. His visit to a record company ends in a fiasco. Staszek, one of his friends, is renting out a piece of land for bungee jumping and has struck it rich. Romek decides to take one more trip to Warsaw... A student film made under the artistic supervision of Wojciech Marczewski and Juliusz Janicki.

Born in 1971 in Kluczbork. Director, screenwriter. Author of awarded documentaries and feature films. Graduate in English Philology from the University of Wrocław and in the Directing Department of the Lodz Film School (currently a lecturer there). Grant holder and a member of Junge Akademie der Kunste in Berlin. Awarded scholarship by the Nipkow Foundation and Screenwriting Fund of Andrzej Munk.
