The first rhythm he encountered was his heart beat. Then he was discovering other sounds until they became an element of his daily life, a source of metaphysical experience and the corner stone of his philosophy. Wojtek Sówka is a drummer, a street shaman. Natuśka is a dancer. Without her the drummer would be useless. They make a couple whose life together is, above all, a well-tuned rhythm.

scriptwriter and director of documentary and fiction films who died after a long illness on 4 May 2009. From 1968 was associated with the Documentary and Feature Film Studio in Warsaw. He made fiction films, such as Zderzenie (1980) and Rykowisko (1986), plays written for television, e.g. Pożądanie w cieniu wiązów, andalso wrote and directed radio plays. He worked as a teacher at the Melchior Wańkowicz School of Journalism
in Warsaw and wrote the following books: Sznur, Podłe życie handlarza okien and Refleksje w korku.
