HOME is a meditative journey to reflect on the relationship between man and nature, led by world-famous polar explorers and ski mountaineers. The sound motif and images of nature coexist with the thoughts of athletes, exploring the eternal, dynamic relationship between our planet and its inhabitants and offering a poetic perspective on the role of nature in our lives.

Aleksandra Powalacz is a photographer and video artist. She creates narratives that invite exploration of nuances of perception and emotion, reflecting the complexities and interconnectedness of reality. She is a member of the analog film collectives Mono No Aware in New York and Filmwerkplaats in Rotterdam. She studied film directing at The Academy of Media Arts Cologne and moving images at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. She lives in Amsterdam.
Julia Powalacz graduated in Media and Culture from the University of Amsterdam and is currently pursuing a Master's program in Film Studies. She is expanding her portfolio, focusing on painting, drawing and film. Her work mainly focuses on the form of the human body in its natural and deformed shapes. She is a member of the film collectives Mono No Aware in New York and Filmwerkplaats in Rotterdam.
