Mudi, a natural-born dancer who can communicate with the spirit world, and his old mother live completely alone on a tiny tropical island in Indonesia. The price they have to pay for this “paradise” is extreme isolation. Their relationship is tense and they both find escape in music. As the rainy season is coming, they have to face new challenges. Will they find a way to get closer to each other?

Karolina Karwan »
Karolina Karwan (born in 1986 in Warsaw). Photographer, filmmaker, traveller and tantra facilitator. She graduated from the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava (ITF) and Faculty of Archaeology at Warsaw University. She is a laureate of the Darmasiswa scholarship, during which she studied music and traditional dance at the Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI) in Yogyakarta. Author of short films: ‘Dive Into’, ‘Bumi Bulao’, ‘Penne God’.
