POLISH TITLE: Twarze Łopusznej
This documentary is some kind of repository of the residents of Łopuszna, a village in the mountains and home to father Józef Tischner, who were born in the 1920s and 1930s. The characters tell anecdotes about the famous philosopher and recall the times that have long been gone. This collection of stories about mountains, faith, Gypsies and Jews, the atrocities of the war and the Stalinist times makes an exceptional group portrait depicting the consciousness of Łopuszna’s eldest residents.
