The film "Inga", directed by Krzysztof Kopczyński, was honored at the 2026 Beverly Hills Film Festival, where it received the Special Jury Award for Best Short Documentary. The award was presented during a gala held at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, attended by approximately 500 filmmakers from the United States and around the world – with Kopczyński as the only representative from Central and Eastern Europe.

One of Portugal’s most important events dedicated to independent cinema, the festival showcases films that often do not enter regular distribution, supports premieres of new titles, and places strong emphasis on cultural and linguistic diversity.
