“THE STOP” WINS AWARD FOR BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY

The film by Bartosz Reetz was recognised for the best cinematography at the British Worcester Film Festival.

The program of the three-day Worcester Film Festival features 100 independent productions from around the world. Although presented at a very local event, the stories shown on screen are international and deal with universal topics.

This year Bartosz Reetz's "The Stop" has been included in the festival's program. The film was appreciated for its black-and-white cinematography by Tomasz Woźniczk and Michała Żuberek. It takes place somewhere on the outskirts of a small town on a day when the local bus line stops running and its young passenger learns the results of his secondary school-leaving exam. Jakub's last visit to school – a moment when one stage in his life ends and the wait for the next one begins.
