FOUR POLISH FILMS SELECTED FOR THE COMPETITION OF LONDON IFF

The results of this year's selection of London Film Festival have been revealed. It is now confirmed that four Polish films will compete in short film competition. The 58th edition of the festival will be held between 8 and 19 October.

As many as 148 short live action and animated films will be shown during this year's edition of the festival. As usual, the focal point of the short film section will be the competition, in which four Polish films compete this year, namely - "Such a Landscape" by Jagoda Szelc, "Flora and Fauna" by Piotr Litwin, “Shame” by Karma Fryc and "Shit Eaters" by Agata Wojciechowska. All of these films are student projects. The first three - "Such a Landscape," "Flora and Fauna" and "Shame" - were made by the students of Lodz Film School, while "Shit Eaters" are the work of a student of the Faculty of Radio and Television in Katowice.  This year, the competition films form seven thematic blocks.

London Film Festival is the oldest and the largest festival taking place in England and one of the most important festivals in the world.
