Jacuś and Norbert, who is a few years older, are in the same hospital room at the oncology ward. They are seriously ill; they have already been through chemotherapy. Jacuś is still a child and Norbert pretends to be a tough man. He fancies a young doctor with whom he enjoys a ritual of smoking one cigarette on the hospital terrace every day. It is a subtle story of a budding friendship between two boys who are facing death.
