An attempt to tell a story of life and death by means of stone, earth, paper and water. A metaphoric impression asking about the nature of changes which take place in a micro- and macrocosm. A diploma film made at the Graphic Arts Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under the artistic supervision of Professor Jerzy Kucia.

Marta Skrocka
born in 1978 in Białystok. She is a graduate of the Graphic Arts Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (2006), where she was a student at Professor Jerzy Kucia’s Animated Film Studio. For three years she has been a coorganizer of the Festival of Puppet and Film Animation (FATiF) in Rabka, which promotes effacing differences between the puppet theatre and the animated film. Age of Stone is her film debut.
